As of today we have an official building permit and can start construction. We have hired a framing sub contractor and by using competitive bidding for that position we have saved over $30,000. Hopefully our framing contractor can start this Saturday. We now need to look forward to finding what time we can give to the project. Whether it is making phone calls, sweeping up trash, moving pile A to pile B, getting materials, buying materials or even the cooking of a weekly meal for our contractors to show them how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication. The time has come for us all to give to this project so that we do not burden a few. If construction starts this Saturday we will need a crew of volunteers for November 3rd to do clean up and many small projects that are required at the new building. Pray for:
- Leadership of the church to not be overwhelmed by the project
- Safety for the contractors
- the removal of a preexisting fee on the new building
- for us all to be patient and wait on Gods timing
- to be cleared from industrial waste and public works without issues that may hold us up
- for people to volunteer to lead Saturday work groups as we only have 2 signed up
- Volunteers for work days
